Community Guidelines
Last updated:2026-07-24
Plain-language version: be kind, post your own work, and never post objectionable content. Anything you report is handled within 24 hours.
1.What this community is for
The Koko Studio community is where people learn to make AI videos, show what they made and cheer each other on. Many members are publishing their very first video — what they need most is goodwill.
So there is really only one rule: treat the person on the other end of the phone like a classmate sitting next to you. Everything below follows from that.
2.What we welcome
- Work you made yourself — rough first attempts absolutely included.
- Thoughtful comments: what worked, what could be tweaked.
- Sharing method: prompts, settings and editing ideas you worked out.
- Everyday life: family, friends, travel, hometown food, restored old photos.
- Helping newcomers and answering their questions.
3.What is not allowed
None of the following may be posted, commented, or used in avatars, names or bios:
- Pornography, sexually explicit or suggestive images, video or text.
- Intimate imagery of others, hidden-camera footage, non-consensual nudity.
- Any sexualised, exposing or inappropriate content involving minors.
- Gore, graphic violence and animal cruelty.
- Content that encourages or glamorises self-harm or suicide.
- Abuse, mocking someone’s appearance or accent, personal attacks, persistent harassment.
- Threats, intimidation, or publishing someone’s address, phone number or workplace (doxxing).
- Hate or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability.
- Drugs, weapons, gambling, forged documents, fraud and pyramid schemes.
- Impersonating teachers, platform staff, public figures or merchants.
- Face swaps, synthetic media or fabricated statements involving real people without their consent.
- Fabricated medical, financial or legal advice.
- Fake prizes, fake subsidies and scam links to external sites.
- Spam, flooding, account trading, like and follower farming.
- Reposting other people’s work as your own, or using unlicensed music and footage.
- Malicious or coordinated reporting of the same person.
Not sure whether something is allowed? Don’t post it — email us first at info@hjstudio.au.
4.Zero tolerance — no second chances
For these four categories there is no warning and no remediation step:
- Any inappropriate content involving minors — permanent ban and referral to authorities.
- Pornography and sexually explicit content — content removed, account banned.
- Hate speech and discrimination — content removed, account banned.
- Violent threats and intimidation — content removed, account banned, referred to police where needed.
Permanently banned users may not create new accounts. Report it if you see someone doing so.
5.How to report something
Reporting is simple: open the report panel → pick a reason → tap “Submit report”. The person you report is never told who reported them.
Three places open that same report panel:
- Report a post: tap “⋯” in the action column on the right of the post.
- Report a comment: tap “Report” next to that comment.
- Report a person: open their profile and tap “⋯ More” on the right, just below their profile card.
In the panel, pick one reason: “Spam or ads” / “Abuse or harassment” / “Sexual or obscene” / “Something else”. You can add a line of detail below it — optional — then tap “Submit report” at the bottom.
We commit to resolving reports within 24 hours, weekends included.
For urgent cases (minors involved, risk to someone’s safety) email info@hjstudio.au with “URGENT” in the subject. If someone is in immediate danger in Australia, call 000 first.
6.How to block someone
Reporting asks us to act; blocking makes that person disappear from your view. You can do both.
- The block button lives inside the report panel: open it any of the three ways above, scroll down and tap the red “Block @their name”, then confirm. You do not have to file a report to block someone.
- Once blocked, you no longer see them in the discover feed, following feed, leaderboard or comments, and any follow between you is removed.
- You can undo it any time under Me → Blocked list, by tapping “Unblock” on the right.
7.How we enforce
- A keyword filter runs before anything is published; matching content cannot be posted.
- A post reported by three different users is automatically taken down pending human review.
- After review, and according to severity, we delete the content, take the post down, hide it site-wide, or disable the account so it can no longer sign in.
- The four zero-tolerance categories go straight to the strongest action.
- When a post is taken down automatically, its author is notified by in-app message so they know what happened and can appeal.
- When we finish handling something you reported, you get an in-app message telling you the outcome (Me → Notifications).
Our administrators check the report queue daily and commit to clearing each day’s reports within 24 hours.
8.If we got it wrong
Both machines and people make mistakes. If your post was removed or your account restricted and you believe it was wrong, email info@hjstudio.au with your account email and the post title. A human reviews it again and we restore anything taken down in error.
Filing an appeal does not affect your use of the rest of the platform (permanent bans aside).
